Just got us a demo with 2300 mile on it. Checked it like it was a use car and they added extra 1 year warranty. Still pristine in and out and the right options for us, though I wanted CarPlay but looking for a way to retrofit.

what year a 2018, thought they all came with CarPlay?

2019... I don't think this one does. I plugged my iPhone and nothing.

double check with the dealer, and ensure you have it plugged in the correct port. My wife GLC63 is a 2018 and has CarPlay standard.

If it has COMMAND it won't have CarPlay; If you have CarPlay you don't have COMMNAND for anything 2019 and before.

Yeah, I just learned it needs code 868 - Smartphone integration package for CarPlay to work. It has pre wiring for rear seat entertainment that we don't need.

ahhhh, I don’t have command and actually prefer CarPlay. This was a a dumb move by MB, my freaking GT3RS has NAV and CarPlay.

I’m happy we didn’t get Command, CarPlay actually does more.

I could care less about CarPlay/Android Auto until they figure out how to do it wirelessly. You'd think that would be an obvious feature, since everything has BlueTooth these days.

Honestly the only cool thing about carplay is the in map view. Other than that I dont need my GF hearing my texts out loud lol.

I have had Carplay/Android Auto in several cars and I have never cared for it. Heck, my Q5 has it and I never even set it up.

no I love them and will not go to the new model. Think they changed too fast! My wife loves it.
