Sorry if this has been discussed before but do you guys recommend AMG drive unit option? What are the benefits of having this other than having ability to control mode, exahaust etc. close to your steering? Does it allow additional tweaking of settings that are not available without this option?

I'm not aware of anything else than what you listed but it's cool. I say get it just because it's cool. It's a $400 option on a $90,000 car.... DO IT....
Thanks! Seemed liked no brainer just from appearance perspective. While it's easy enough to reach for the console to adjust various settings, I guess there is some benefit to having it near your steering wheel.
I actually don't think everything belongs on the steering wheel, I have no problem with all that being on the console. That being said, if I was ordering a new car, I would get it. If I am picking one off a lot, I wouldn't care if it had it or not as long as it had everything else I wanted.
