Question 2020 GLC 63 Renntech Tune - Questions

Hi everyone I wanted to get some advice. I recently took delivery of my 2020 GLC 63. I ordered the HHT from Renntech and it didn't work because apparently the car had newer software than what they had sent. So long story short I sent it back.

Now my questions are -

If anyone here has ANY experience with the HHT either in general or specifically for the GLC 63 please tell me your thoughts and experience. I am a little bit nervous. It's my first time tuning a car. I am debating right now whether or not I should just get a refund for it or follow through with it when they send it back to me. They said it was a pretty common thing to happen and that they have tuned other 2020's already... which I am not sure I totally believe considering they just hit dealers in the US a month or so ago.

Like I said anyone who has first hand experience PLEASE let me know you thoughts and experience with it. Power increase, reliability, extra wear and tear on the car.

Thank you all.

Oh it will definitely wake the car up and a lot more low end torque. You will get hooked on it quickly lol.

Worth every penny .

I really appreciate your reply. Do you have both of your vehicles tuned with Renntech's HHT?

Im currently with Eurocharged. Very happy with them. Jerry is very knowledgeable.

from time slips I noticed the tunes are just about even on the drags.

Renntech is a bit more expensive. I’ve used Weistec, DME and Eurocharged. I would recommend eurocharged just from my experience and the tune is extremely safe.

It's Rentech, It's safe for your AMG. They are closely affiliated with AMG. They are also the only tune that's actually sold and supported by some MB Dealers. If you're concerned about safety and reliability Rentech is the safest option. The downside is that they are more expensive than some of the other tuning houses.
