CarPlay

So what are the options to get CarPlay on our GLC63 with COMAND?

is there any flashing, firmware, vxdiag modifications?
is the only option a new Android 10.25” screen?

Trade for a 2020 or rip your dash apart and buy some sketchy Chinese hardware that MIGHT work. No flash or firmware available, it’s a hardware problem that MB left COMAND owners with, unfortunately. Tried to use voice for COMAND Navi today and it just sucks. My GTI with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay is a better system even using the stock Navi. As much as it’s financially stupid and the drive of the AMG should be enough, I’m seriously considering upgrading my 18 to a 20 43 or 63 for the tech...and the beast of an 8, if I go 63. Frustrating and didn’t quite realize how bad COMAND was or probably would have just waited on my GLC purchase.

yeah, nah. Won't be trading for a 2020 when I have a GLC63 already

My Mercedes sales person is recommending someone to retrofit but its 1250k. It's expensive but I really want it and he is giving warranty for 4 years. I'll update when its done.

nevertheless other cool features that possible to activate at your car are:

1. with my tuneOBD module for usd 699 is it possible to tune the motor control unit:
- power up from stock 510Hp/700Hm -> 601Hp/899Hm in 2 minutes
- no affect to warranty
- no wires
- no ECU open
- no soldering - just plug-and-play

only my tune has:
- no speed limit from 210kmh stock -> NO LIMIT with tune
- 4-pedal booster presets: Stock->Sport->Sport+->hell sporty
- back to factory firmware any time with the same module in 2 minutes
- totally plug-and-play

DYNO picture for GLC63S with our tune here:

videos how my tuneOBD works are here:

2. ECO start stop default OFF - extra $89 ($139 when ordered later on)

3. No tune Speed limit unlock to 300kmh - $149

4. SeatBelts warning Off - extra $39 ($115 when ordered later on)

Probably not if you have the COMAND system. If this is MB OEM, it will only work in non-COMAND vehicles, which this is a very good price. Nice find.
