2020 63 shuts off w/ECO start-stop

Not to revive an old thread, but this has happened to me twice in my one year of ownership, most recently three days ago. I had a service scheduled so I mentioned it to my SA today, who just called and told me there's an LI out there for it but it's vague and doesn't really give the reason(s) behind the issue or the way to resolve it. They're going to be running diagnostics and whatnot on the car for a couple of days and will let me know. Apparently the problem is specific to the 63.

I have the situation with C43 while my ECO is off here. Dealer wasn't able to replicate the issue.

Same here, this happened to me twice in traffic, and I was horrified, all the warning lights was on when this happened and pressing start button out of panic didn’t do anything, then I somehow have the car shut down and started again.
all the cars behind me always furious.
apart from that I hear light rattling noice since I got my car in Jan that Mercedes say its nothing and car is safe to drive, and play dumb saying they don’t hear any rattling noise.
love the car, but didn’t expected this, even rental Kia engines didn’t have these issue from experience.

I have a 2018 GLC300 4matic with 48k miles on it. Got the stop driving but leave car running warning. Dealer replaced battery and another part that controls power flowing from battery (don't have paperwork in front of me so don't know what its official name is). Now having the Eco Drive random shut down issue. never had an issue with the car up to now. Afraid dealer wont know what to do. Turning off eco drive now to prevent stalls. Any help?

One of the lads on here with the same/ similar issue stated that his issue had been resolved via a recent software update. Perhaps that may be what needs to happen with your car!?

Apologies for reviving this old thread, but I happen to came across the same issue, I just performed software update using a scanning tool. Search "Engine Auto Start/Stop Not Working on YOUCANIC" and you will see an article that goes over common causes and possible fixes.
