Do GLC63 21” Wheels fit GLC43

I am wondering if 2020 GLC63 21” wheels will fit my GLC43. Tirerack has snow tires which fit the 63 wheels, but have nothing for the 21” 43 wheels.

Or I thought about 20” GLC43 wheels with snow tires.

Yes, they fit perfectly. The offset of the 63 @ 30 would also give a better flushed look. Both wheels are 5x112 cb 66.6 (same as Audi 5 and above). The factory offset for our 43 is et40.

If you are looking for snow tires @21", you should reconsider wheel size ant tire fitment related to the rim. Why are you thinking about 21" snow package?

Not quite. The front GLC63 wheels will actually poke past the fenders on the GLC43. The rear wheels both GLC63 and 43 will have the same outer position in the fender.

How did you come to this conclusion? It would be equivalent to running 10mm spacers all the way around. Any pics?

They should fit...its more equivalent to running 23mm spacers in the front because the GLC63 wheel is also 1 inch wider than the 43. Either way still should sit under the fender.

The GLC63 wheels are wider front and rear than the GLC43 wheels.

GLC63 Wheels Front are 21x9.5" +30 Rear wheels are 21x10" +28
GLC43 Wheels Front are 20x8.5" +38 Rear wheels are 20x9.5"+22

So interms of fitment stock VS stock, the front GLC63 wheels will stick out 23mm more than the GLC43 wheels. For the rear the outer fitment is identical. I installed the GLC63 front flares on my 43 and had to run a 15mm spacer after on the front to push the wheels out to make it look good again.

If you are referring to GLC63 tires on a GLC43 rim...that could be a little suspect. The smallest recommended wheel width for a 265 front tire is 9 inches and the GLC43 has an 8.5 inch wide front wheel. The smallest recommeded wheel width for a 295 rear tire is 10 inches and the GLC43 has a 9.5 inch wide rear wheel.

With that being said you'd be safe with a 20 inch winter setup. Hope that helps!

Ok Got it, I was under the impression that we had 9.5" also. Just checked again and it works be 10mm+ 12.xxx mm.

Currently on winters but wondering if anyone knows if there are any concerns with inner clearance when going much wider? Going to 10.5 or 11 with similar outward position obviously creates less inner clearance. Any idea how much room is under there?

yes. There should be room on the inner to go half an inch in the rear.

I went through this last year. I believe the 63 wheels will poke out past the fender on the front end. Not sure about the back.

I ended up with a second set of the 43 wheels.

I ended up sticking with the stock 43 21” wheels and installed Perelli Scorpion Zero 265/40R21 front and 295/35R21 in the rear

Hi, I’m wondering why the recommendation for the front isn’t the Scorpion with regular front size 255/40r21 and larger rear 295/35r21? Why the 265 on the front when the 255 is available in this tire, and actually has a closer sized sidewall as the 295 option?
