In my defence...I did say this in the thread above.

"I went from the GLE 63S Coupe to the GLC 63S Coupe and they are 2 completely different animals.

The GLE was the smoothest, quietest, most comfortable SUV I have ever had. For road trips, turn on the massage seats, kick back and drive like I was in my living room. It was pretty quick too.

The GLC is the only time in my life that I can imagine keeping a car for more than 1.5 years. Every single time I drive it, I have a big grin on my face. It is rough, noisy, mean beast that everyone notices and it will out gun about every car that has took a shot at it."

I kind of like this but I disagree with losing the cold air induction that come with these"intakes".

OEM Night Package elements came in today. The vehicle was dropped off at the shop to have them swapped. I apologize for the weird photos...I oddly lost the one from my phone and had to take screenshots from the video I took. These 7 small pieces cost waaay too much IMO.

I feel like I am either missing or there is not enough Tube videos on your GTR.

I mean, I am counting on you influencing me into getting one....

There aren't many. My main channel is my football channel where I review football gear and give behind the scene looks at exclusive events like Super Bowl, Combine etc. I'm going to try to invest more time into the car channel. 2019 brought a lot of changes that made it difficult.

Is the 6 speed dual clutch trans a true manual or an auto?

Amen brotha. I was laid off in 2017. Found a job in 2018. My company merged with another and my entire team was cut in November, right after I bought a new home in August and found out I have a baby on the way in October.

For the GTR, it has both auto mode which is keeps you in the highest gear and does not downshift. The paddle shift system is a true manual mode. Luckily there is also an OEM programmable shift light. The Trans, Suspension, and Traction switch system is IMO way better than the Drive Select in Mercedes. You can flip the swtiches to customize the experience which is easier than always have to select one mode or adjust the Individual Mode. Before the GTR I considered pre-owned R8s, 911s and AMG GTs. I needed one car to do everything...for that there is nothing better than a GTR. Now that I have a second car, I'd probably pick up a preowned AMG GTS only because GTC prices haven't came down yet. I wouldn't get anything older than a 2017 GTR, the interior and exterior styling is so much more upscale.

Ughhh...I hear that. I gave up a high stress sales job in 2018 and went to work for a small startup company out of San Diego, one year into it they folded. I had an offer to go back to my old job and originally accepted it but right before my start date, a small, local competitor called me and offered me a position in the same territory. I knew the stress level would be 100x less and the comp package was just a few thousand less/yr so I burned a long time bridge and accepted it and started on Jan 1 of this year.

Last week they were acquired by a large national company so here we go again. A lot of Reps will be fired since the purchasing company has reps where all of our reps are, I have to just hope I am the best fit which is difficult when I have only been here for 3 months.

I never keep cars very long but man I love the GLC but I really want the GTR, I have had a lot of Nissan's including about every version of the Z's. We have a SQ5 so in theory, we don't need two quick SUVs.....

If it fits your budget, get it. It will grow on you. I can't ever see giving it up...hoping to keep it as a classic.

I've confirmed that for the front bumper (besides the 4 small chrome pieces in the side air dams), the above 7 pieces are all you need to convert to night package. They can be removed without dropping the front bumper, just need to be careful not to bend or break any tabs when prying them out. I have more pieces coming to replace the chrome trims in the air dams as well.

It is a night and day difference (pardon the pun) with the night package, especially in person.

Need them for the kiddos lol...plus I think it makes the car appear lower unless I opted for GLC63 side skirts which is outside the budget I set.

Yeah to my eye without the boards you get more of the body lines and it actually makes the rear look more aggressive and wider BUT can't argue needing them for the kiddos which trumps everything
as this is the baby mobile after all -

Looks like I did not have all the right pieces for the diffuser and I just ordered 7 more pieces...none of the 43 brackets fit with the 63 diffuser . I'll have to see if the 7 brackets I ordered are all needed. For those interested, total diffuser cost is sitting at $1700 .
