This just came in - figured I would post it up considering we’ve had a lot of GLC63 traffic lately. “Stormtrooper” build that we occasionally do. White, night package, black wheels, carbon fiber inside. Will have to post more pictures of the interior after we remove the packaging inside from the port.

Question...I've been to about 4-5 dealers in the New England area and a number of the GLC 63 models displayed or on the lot are optioned with the dinamica/alcantara interior. Is there a reason for that? Have you seen a higher take rate on that option vs leather?

Great question and am curious myself. I personally would prefer leather for the interior and steering wheel. That said, car looks pretty sweet, Euro crew...
If you look at most performance cars like Ferrari's Mclarens they come with ALcantara interiors (which is a brand of microfiber like Dinamica).. its a performance thing, don't slide around.. moisture wicking.. most perfomance cars are microfiber and carbon fiber. You slide around in leather and it wears and cracks.. you can get those suede cleaners and the micorfber is good..even on steering wheels.. (new microfibers...don't loom at early 2000's cars like an E46 M3 with microfiber..eesh)

Well, I don't necessarily disagree with you, in general, but when you have a car addiction it gets hard to be logical... Plus, it doesn't have to be a $40k difference, you can get much closer than that with a 43 vs 63...and V8's are going the way of the dinosaur, so who knows how long MB will keep it around. That will be a very sad day, IMHO.
I do love the new GLC43.. doesnt sound as good or as visceral as the GLC63.. on a C43 sedan I can see the quarter second difference not being as big and the c43 is awd vs the c63 being rwd... being in the northeast (mid atlantic) all wheel drive is a big deal. The GLC63 is all wheel though so if I could get a GLC63 I would... I love our white one.. a 43 is more in my budget honestly.. I do love this one we have... LINK .. the red one is awesome too LINK .. both are cars I built for stock ..we have a coupe 43 too.. a lot of people like the coupe body, I think they look cool but i always have tons of crap in the trunk of my car lol
the GLC43 suv has a big rebate now.. 4x the amount of a GLC300.. plus all GLC suvs (not coupes) have special rates and 1st month payment waiver (up to $500) if you finance or lease through MBFS

Thanks for clarifying! Is it just me or are the bolsters on the MB-Tex/Alcantara seats deeper than on the regular leather seats?
SOLD! black one still here if anyone wants a fairly aggressive offer.. two 43's also which have extra monies on them this month and special rates (unlike 63's)
