ODB2 code reader

I am looking to buy a ODB2 code reader .
I am looking for something to be able to read engine light, reset after service ........
I see options like bluetooth compatible with android or just handheld unit . I have no idea where to start .
What do you guys use ? and what do you like about it ?
In my Audi I used Carista bluethooth connected to my phone and that was fine but Carista in not covering Mercedes GLC 2019 .

I got a Schwaben from ECS for my GLC. @$200.
They are not as inexpensive as the Carista.
I have the Carista for my Audi also I really like it.
For the $ nothing better. (Unpaid endorsement) lol

So far i own a Kiwi OBD adapter (for the Torque App), Carly adapter and HPTuners. The Kiwi+torque is hit or miss, sometimes you get all the parameters, sometimes you don't haven't figured that one out. Carly works the best for me, you get all the parameters and seems to pick up the most faults on a diagnostics scan and has data logging that can be exported and saved. I just absolutely hate the Carly interface, landscape only and not user friendly at all. You also have to pay for the "full" version with the Carly app. HPTuners works great for diagnostics and clearing codes, but like the Torque app it doesn't pick up all the logging parameters. I'm hoping HPTuners will launch full compatibility for the M177, i would then use that exclusively for diagnostics and logging.
I do have a 2020 GLC, and as I've mentioned in previous posts, i think there have been some changes to the available OBD data for cars with the newer MBUX system. I get the annoying "Mercedes Me" connection warning every time i plug something in the OBD port. Curious if anyone else has experienced this?
