Us based.....I have a picture of my car but no "more" button and no Geo tracking/fence which is what I need....or maybe I don't...maybe valet kids should get to taste an AMG to make them set goals for their lives...
Looks like UK and Canada from their profiles. My USA version has no More button, either. Looks like they haven't rolled everything out yet in the USA. Europe had this new app for a while. I'm surprised Canada gets more features than the USA. Usually it's the opposite.
Following up on my earlier post. The app received an update on my iPhone today and now has Valet Protect for those that missed it before. It's under "More" from the home screen. Still missing Speed Alerts and Geofencing, but they seem to be committed to rolling out the remaining features.
The "more" button and Valet Protect just appear in my app today.Geofencing isn't there but there is a "vehicle leaves radius" selection under Valet Protect that lets you pick .5, 1.0 and 3.0 mile radius for notification if the vehicle leaves the area.
The app was a separate download for me. I can actually run both.
I would describe the new app as “different”, but not better. More clicks to get to what I want to do (start my car in the winter).
I just seek faster response time and more reliability - neither of which seems true so far.
No vehicle image for my vehicle... really odd.
