Hi guys.
Recently I purchased an ECU tune from Eurocharged, along with CPC tune, which is required for FL cars.
My car is GLC 43 AMG 2020.
Mods:
- Sownpipes with sport cats (400-cell by Gesi)
- Custom exhaust
- Intercooler upgrade by Logos Engineering

Today I went to a reliable local workshop to make a dyno test.
Results are below.

Edit: looks like we used an incompatible fuel, so Eurocharged installed an updated tune. I'll update the post when I have new dyno results.
Edit 2: Final results - ~440hp, 720nm. But look at the pulling numbers below...

Final result after spending a few hours on dyno

Did you do a baseline run?
Is the 480 hp you state suppose to be engine or wheel numbers?

No I didn't, unfortunately.
As for 480 hp, it's a question for Eurocharged, because this is their statement, not mine

message me your email and name. We see some knock which looks like it could be bad fuel

According to Eurocharged's website, I should get around 480hp and 700+ nm on Stage 1.
Today I went to a reliable local workshop to make a dyno test.
Results are, hmm... a bit confusing.

I'm guessing their numbers posted on the website are to the engine, not wheels. Also, how do the high flow cats effect the overall numbers? Did you get any draggy or 1/4 times before/after the tune/cpc tune?

Guys from the dyno workshop told me that numbers on this graph are also engine, not wheels.
As for dragy, it was impossible because all roads here are covered by snow, winter is here(c)
Car definetely feels faster though.

Booked another dyno session in a week, waiting for the update from Eurocharged.

Not much of a difference before and after. Is that what we see here?

There is no 'before' here, unfortunately, only 'after'.
I didn't make a stock dyno test.

Would not the stock numbers be marginally above what Merc states the car to be, perhaps +10/15hp more? It would be safe to assume so if any base numbers weren’t taken!?

I think that the base numbers are not so important, the final results are.
Yesterday we installed an updated tune from EC, can't wait to see the updated dyno and logs. Booked another dyno session in the same workshop for Saturday.

By the way, what do you guys think about VCM suite from HP Tuners? I am too lazy to go to workshop every time I want to check logs, so I'd prefer to have my own tool for data logging.

I must say that Eurocharged took it very seriouslу, and I still believe that my car will be the fastest GLC43 in my area after all

Base numbers are always important. For example, your vehicle could make 400whp on that dyno stock and then make 415whp with a tune. Therefore you only made 15whp with the money spent. Final numbers are bragging rights but without a before and after, you do not know how much power you actual picked up.

Would hope so, the car is knocking lol

Keep us posted! Look forward to seeing the results, make sure to get new logs as well. Logs are always important when tuning or getting tune, ensures how the car is running.

I am curious of a couple of things....
-Stock intake setup....(it has to be choking this setup at this power level-stage 2?)
-400 cell flowing catted dowpipes vs 700 cell stock, it is a decrease in back pressure, but is it enough to support a stage 2 tune?
-could be bad fuel or something else (still running the stock fuel system)(should we be looking to the Spool setup at this point?)

Also HP tuners should offer you a fair amount of info for logging what you are trying to monitor. I also believe AMR offers a setup that can monitor as well for all types of tunes or I could be off-base on this?

bad fuel is possible, but you would see it all throughout the power band if that was the case, it would not be -3 knock in one area, -1.5 knock in another, etc...

Quote: Stock intake setup....(it has to be choking this setup at this power level-stage 2?)
this would effect turbo response, boost stability, air quality, would not cause knock.

Quote: -400 cell flowing catted dowpipes vs 700 cell stock, it is a decrease in back pressure, but is it enough to support a stage 2 tune?
the tune should be designed for the setup, so if you are catted, that would require a different tune than catted, but still would not cause the issue

AMR Performance COMPORT PRO TUNING Suite comes with live monitoring, data-logging, flash abilities, scan dtc in all major modules, etc... basically everything that is needed to ensure your vehicle is running optimal.

- stock intake is temporary, gonna add either Logos or Modalworks intake. Installed K&N filters for now.
- it's acceptable compromise if you're not ready for de-cattted downpipes (I'm not, terrible noise and odor).
- Spool shows it's best when used with ethanol. Unfortunately, in my area you cannot just go to the fuel station and get E85, the best you can get is 100 octane. And I'm not ready to brew E85 by myself
- I contacted HP Tuners regarding this matter. Their VCM Suite doesn't support my ECU. I installed VehiCAL logger instead, and it works great, highly recommended for our ECU (2020+).

It's gotta suck knowing you should have bought a GLC 63s when you could have and now you are wasting money on a GLC 43 wanting to be a 63s...

Sure you say you can live with that until you try to get your money back on resale after you realize ya screwed up.. Next time save up for the car you really wanted..

Dude, I bought exactly what I wanted to buy. I don't want 43 to be 63s, I want my 43 to perform just as he can.
I'm having a lot of fun doing all these things.

I use to think like you but finally came to face the reality after years of modifying my cars and wasting thousands on this and that trying to get the performance of the model I told myself I didn't need.
You will never see the money wasted on modifications when you sell your car and even less if you trade in in for the model you really wanted..

I'm not trying to stir the pot or judge any viewpoint as more valid than any other, but what I will say is everyone's car/SUV/truck/bike passion and motivation is different, and it usually seems to have nothing to do w/money saved, retained, or made. TBH, I think I'd be bored out of my gourd if I had access to every single thing I'd ever wanted or dreamed of in vehicles exactly as I want them
Making it my own, whatever that means, is most of the fun IMO.

Sounds like exactly what OP is doing and exploring? This is one of the more interesting threads on here right now. I personally want to see how far this can go

My point exactly!
Unfortunately, my English is too bad to write it by myself.

I'm not your client and won't be.

I think he "advertised" since I said AMR had logging software...regardless, your post, so up to you what you want in it...

- stock intake is temporary, gonna add either Logos or Modalworks intake. Installed K&N filters for now.
- it's acceptable compromise if you're not ready for de-cattted downpipes (I'm not, terrible noise and odor).
(I wasn't encouraging catless, as I think they should like absolute $h1T, so rock on the catted setup. I know at least a couple manufactures use 200 Cell cats, so didn't know how 400 Cell versions compared to Stock 700 cell.)

- Spool shows it's best when used with ethanol. Unfortunately, in my area you cannot just go to the fuel station and get E85, the best you can get is 100 octane. And I'm not ready to brew E85 by myself ( agreed best with higher E content, but the stock fueling system on the TTv6 doesn't get the job done consistently)

- I contacted HP Tuners regarding this matter. Their VCM Suite doesn't support my ECU. I installed VehiCAL logger instead, and it works great, highly recommended for our ECU (2020+).
Good luck!

Well, after a few hour on dyno, here is the final result.
About 440hp and 720nm of torque.
Stock config was measured too, it was 398hp and 550nm.

Am I happy? Well, the numbers look good.
But... it seems to me that Russian pump fuel is not a thing that Eurocharged is familiar with.
It's 100 RON / 89-90 MON (by specs).

Pulling is kinda insane, don't you think?
Looks like after spending $2.6k+ for Eurocharged CPC+ECU tune and extra money for dyno tests, I'll have to go to some of the local tuners (who, at least, are familiar with the local fuel).

So "baseline" was 398hp? Was this at the engine or wheels? 400 seems to be a lot (if awd at the wheels) for a baseline with no other mods....or was this done with your upgraded downpipes?
