Hey l wanted to upgrade my sound system on my new 2022 GLC 43 coupe. I don't want subwoofers in the cargo area so I was looking for something that can fit under my front seats...I found a Focal subwoofer that would be perfect but when I looked under my front seats to see where I can place it, there is a little black plastic piece underneath both of them. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it can be removed ?Thank you.

You can remove that vent section under the seats, but you have to remove the seats to get it out. Other option is to trim/cut the plastic vent back until the sub fits and jam a shop towel in the vent so it's not blowing air right on the sub. Nobody ever sits in the back of mine, so they are useless to me and I doubt anyone would ever notice they were cut since you can't really see them. Slow speed dremel cut off should do the trick
