We have two GLC SUVs, a 2020 300 and a 2022 AMG 43, which have identical MBUX interface versions. Both display Android Auto screens flawlessly--but only use a half of the 10.3" screen width, the rest being wasted by a few icons and a black wasteland.
I recently rented a Kia in which I used my phone's Android Auto in a full-screern mode--what a difference this has made! Same full-screen Google Maps on a rented GM car....
So, whose fault is it that M-B cars display only such limited-size Android Auto screens? I don't suppose it's something we users could adjust?
Never on this generation of cars. It's a flawed design. They reserved part of the screen for the Home and Messages button as well as the climate control information, so both CarPlay and AA are running at 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 21:9. It's one of those things that is a step back with MBUX compared to the previous COMAND system. CarPlay at least is full screen in my 2019 C63S, but AA is also not full screen.
