Hi,
What is the latest version of the navigation software for the NTG 5.0 entertainment system?
How can you update the navigation software SD-Card or CD?
Version currently installed on my car 2018/2019 (V12.0) N.America

What year is your car? Did you buy it new? You get 1 year (I did anyway) of free updates when you purchase the car and they come OTA. You can also go to Mercedes Store, log in and purchase updates if you are out of the free stuff. My last update, I got the email that said you'll be getting the update pushed to you in the next 2 weeks. 2 days later, when I started the car, it gave me the message that I had an update-boom done.

Keep in mind as other forum members pointed out, apparently voice data is not updated automatically so you will still need to use a memory card and a computer and download that manually then flash to the car. Thing is. if you are doing that already might as well download the whole map. Glad yours got pushed so early, these OTA map updates are released in a staged roll-out so it can get irritating waiting for an update.

So I went and got a new version of the navigation database of eBay.
Downloading to a USB drive tock about 1-2 hours. Installation was straight forward and to only 20 minutes.
The latest software for north America is V15 2021/2022.
The only thing you need is a Microsoft based computer and a 64G USB drive.

Glad it worked out, but I would thought that there is a newer version than that, strange it is still the 2022 map?
