Got rid of the GLC 43

Finally returned the White 2021 GLC43 and my wife is much happier. The transmission was terrible and very annoying with continued jerking in the lower gears, even after multiple software updates and dealer visits. Everyone in the car noticed it. The car only had 6700 miles on it after 2.5 years/$72,000 window sticker. Such a shame as the rest of the car was fantastic. This issue isn't an imagination - its real. There was zero jerky issues with my E53.

In any case the local dealer had a new 2024 GLC300 Pinnacle trim in Patagonia Red that my wife liked so she is now enjoying that. The Technology upgrades are very impressive. BTW, saw Twilight Blue Metallic - wow, what a color.

Congrats on the new wheels.

MB transmissions are bad, on average. Some are very bad, others are OK. MB doesn't have control on their manufacturing processes for transmissions, or for vehicle assembly, but that is a different thread. Hence the variation in user experience related to transmissions. Lack of manufacturing control = textbook definition of poor quality.

Sounds like the box in the E53 is OK for now.
