Mercedes has lost me
If this is the “performance” version of the GLC, I can’t imagine what the regular GLC300 is doing.

Although the M139 is not new, the electrified drivetrain with the F1-inspired e-turbo is which such drivetrain first appeared in the 2023 W206 C 43 or was it 2022? Anyways, it does take time, I heard most of the remaining complaints are just jerky transmission yes there are still check engine lights being reported but at least that in particular doesn't inhibit the vehicle from being powered on and driven especially if it is not flashing. Non flashing CEL is usually caused by an emission related issue such as an oxygen sensor. Given the fact that there are so many modules in the X254, so many things could trigger a CEL.
Squeaks and rattles in MBs are not new sadly, the X254 is better than X253 in that regards but they are still there. Sadly, if want to stick with MB and don't want to deal with squeaks and rattles (other than going to the dealership many times to chase them with felt tape), it will be going to an S-Class W223, but even that I heard reported of squeaks and rattles.
I say if you really like the vehicle test drive and couple of times, get familiar with the transmission and if the squeaks and rattles is a dealbreaker. Otherwise you might want to move on to a GLE if you want to stick with MB but again even that has a share of problems, although there are still many happy owners on this forum.

Hmmm, if you want to stick with MB and need an SUV, you either stay with the GLC or go GLE but GLE is also been reported to have squeaks and rattles and other build quality issues. GLS is basically a larger GLE and built in the same plant in Alabama so getting the GLS doesn't quite solve the issues. Unless you go full out and GLS Maybach.
Dealer just called and said my GLC 43 was updated with software and after test driving it the engine light came on, so they are offering to roll back the purchase and get my money back or make me a really good deal on the 2025 GLC 43 fully loaded. I asked has MB fixed all the kinks in 2025 models and they said yes as far as the 48V faults and this is the first 2024 GLC that they ever had acting like this. I can not find any complaints on a 2025 GLC 43 so any help would be appreciated.
