2019 GLC63s with 55xxxkm needs front brakes

Just got the service A done on the car and they did a inspection. Inspection came back fine but the car has 2mm front and 4mm rear brake pad measurement. We bought the car used when it had 52xxxkm on it. Strange how the dealer didn't mention that to us when we bought it...

Anyways,

The MB dealer gave me a quote for $3300.00 parts and labor for just the front brakes. My question is, at this mileage, could I just replace the pads and be done with it or should I replace the rotors and pads?? The never gave me the rotor depth measurement. I just don't want to be ripped off.

Quote must be for front rotors and pads but get a quote to a independent shop .

That is correct. The indy shop is $500 cheaper. I'm taking it there for a second opinion on the rotor replacement requirement. The dealer always quotes full replacement for both the rotor and pads.

Just got back from the indy shop and they said I don't have to worry about the brakes. There is over 40% left on the fronts. Take the car and drive and see you maybe in a year.
