GLC AMG 43 in 2026?
I've been interested the AMG GLC 43 for some time now and would like to purchase soon but I've been reading that MB might be discontinuing the GLC 43 in 2026 in favor of all electric. Are we going to see another ICE next year in this model?
Are you in North America? If so, you will probably get a 2026 GLC 43 with the M139 engine build, I am not sure when production of the 2025 model year ends, I think (?) don't quote me though it is in May or June.

MB Canada is still showing the 2025s for the GLC 43 and GLC 63 online. Not sure what you might find at the dealer. It would not be unusual for 2025 orders to be cut off in May or June but that may not be the case here. With all that is going with the market, especially EQs, MB may have adjusted their timing this time around. You should check with your dealer and see what the latest information is that they have. Normal delivery times are about three months but that can vary a lot depending on the situation and I think are generally longer when a model change over is happening depending on when in the cycle the order is placed.

Anyways I was watching a M139 engine build on YT from I think it was 2020 and noticed a internal serpentine belt being installed. I did some searching and its a pump belt. For those that have this engine or know someone that has it in their MB, has there ever been issues where it needs to be replaced? I don't see any access panel to open. I think the engine would need to be partially dismantled to get to it. What would the life of this belt be?
Yeah I think I might have to visit a dealer and find out the details.

Regardless GTA or not, you could also go to the Mercedes-Benz questions and answers thread on the RFD forum and ask there. Reason why I recommend that it is because the discussions are more local and might help you more.
I ordered a 2025 in late April.
It was automatically changed to a 2026 by Mercedes-Benz and produced on June 10. (2025 production ended at the end of May)
It arrived by vessel in Baltimore on July 11th and is still sitting there six weeks later.
Not impressed.

I'm assuming you're in the USA and not Canada.
Unfortunately dealers can only get limited information from Mercedes.
On the bright side, the salesman called me about an hour after I posted yesterday to say the status had just changed to "vehicle tendered to truck" so it looks like I might get it next week.
I'm in Canada, about an 11 hour drive from the Baltimore dock lol!

If I was getting a GLE (that are built in Alabama) there would be an impact.
BTW the base price did go up $900 from MY2025 to 2026 as well as many of the options I chose on mine. Total increase comes to $2300.00 CAD.
