Yes airmatic is a must as are the 21's that necessitate it. Luv the amg appear pk,g but like the other 21's a bit better for some reason. Had the multi 21 on my Scoupe so maybe Im just bored w/them, but the 21" dbl 5 spokes seem to pop more.

Mine doesn’t adjust speed in Distronic yet but does strange things on corners at times. It may start braking even when there is no reduced speed limit.
Otherwise, I like the way mine works now....like Cruise-set the speed and it stays there. I read that it’s supposed to do Route based speed but was hoping that it was wrong. Distronic sometimes reads an 80 mph as a 60, etc. Distronic isn’t accurate enough at this time for Route based speed, IMO.

Greg is right that it should have AIRMATIC (I included it in my original order and sacrificed it to get my rig at least two months sooner), but it most certainly isn’t needed. The drive without it is incredibly smooth. I remarked to my wife that I wish I had been able to test drive a 450 with AIRMATIC or E-ABC because they must be spectacular to justify the premium cost. The standard steel springs really drive nicely.

It depends on the roads in your driving area. I am very happy with the AIRMATIC, driving on Individual with everything set to "Sport" and suspension set on "Comfort" is great.
The suspension is absurdly well balanced for an SUV, it is steady with nonexistent body roll, you can go into turns fast with no issues whatsoever.

Anybody know how to get into the HUD settings menu. I have tried to follow the manual but it seems to not make sense and sends me round in circles. much appreciated if someone could try it and relay their finding on here.

Press the home button on the left side of the steering wheel to access the menu in the gauge cluster. Swipe up with your thumb to select the menu for the HUD settings. I think that should be it.

Thanks for that. it is what I have been trying but just realised its on the opposite side for right hand drive vehicles. Doh.

Yeah, it really makes for a difficult choice. I wanted the DAP and the AMG interior. Ultimately, I prioritized the AMG over the DAP when I placed my orders but, unable to get the ordered vehicles in a reasonable timeframe, I finally gave up on getting the AMG interior and got one in stock at a dealership that had DAP. Without having driven in the AMG interior for comparison's sake, I'm really happy I have the DAP. I also ended up with the multi contour massaging seats, which are phenomenal.
