My next update is August 2 per the system , but no information yet. Not hoping much from what the dealer told me next production date is October for the 450. So they think best chance is my car will go into that October build cycle. I will have a chance to see the car December. This would be a full year of ordering for me, such bull**it but what can you do ? I sent private message to MB Canada, they just ignored me.

You got your's in April??, and mine had a production date of 3-13, 2 1/2 weeks later, and I STILL don't have a car.

Ordered 11/06/18 within hours of order banks opening. My "production dates" went 02/3D > 02/1D > 02/27 > 03/13 > 04/06 when it was finally finished, and loaded on rail 04/09. I'd probably still be waiting if I didn't luck into some inside help.

2019 A Class Mercedes Benz
I final received my MB A Class yesterday. It is a great car.The SA and dealership were great but MB was not . I love the vehicle but really am disappointed with the lack of response and communication for MB. The vehicle I order on 1/23/19 still has not been delivered to the dealership. Fortunately my SA was able to procure one from another dealer. Joe

Thumbs up

I must have been really lucky as I only went to dealers to have a look at the GLE , had a test drive and the dealer managed to find the car to the spec I wanted in the dealer stock. Waited a week and then picked it up.
so test drive 23rd May, pick up 31st May. No complaints at all.
But........................back to dealer on 3rd June for Adblu fault, got car back on 6th but on way home same fault so car went back to dealers until 14th when it was returned all fixed.
Dealer was so embarassed about the first time it went back that the boot was full of things like umbrellas, Mercedes flasks and a picnic hamper. When I picked the car up the second time they told me that the next two services are free
I know it shouldn't have happened but its about how problems are dealt with that sets one dealer above another and coming here from a Range Rover the way I was dealt with was second to none

Guess we will have to launch a GLE 300d issues thread...

Sharon I feel your pain, Ordered 350 in March. In May they tell me part issue so I reorder. Have a production date of 8/11 and I'm told today that I have a VIN but may not see it until September. I live in Florida, not a far drive from Alabama. So they are still moving production dates and are NOT caught up as others say! Terrible!
I have searched countless MB websites looking for a car similar and when I call Dealerships they tell me they don't have the car on the website. Oh, just another thing to add to the extremely bad customer service or should I say NO customer service!

Ordered in Austin, TX on 6/18/19. Decade planned when ordered was first decade of September. Now have a production date of September 22, 2019. Also said 350 orders are now coming in as scheduled, but he has had very few 450 orders and none with ABC so can’t say for sure if the production date will stick but right now has no reason to believe it won’t.

Unable to order spoiler with original order. Dealer said spoiler orders have a “temporary technical hold.” Also said they are being redesigned. SA said could be added by dealer.

Expected delivery in May but then my GLE450 was pulled out of production. Reordered in late June and have no current production timeline.
Dealer has not received any 450’s yet only 350’s. Glad I did the reorder because the sales manager believes the reorder will
come before the first order. SM cannot see any info on the first order and thinks it might never be shipped.

The production date on my reorder (placed June 13) has already slipped to 2nd decade of October from first decade of September.

My SA sent a screenshot of her NetStar and I saw seven other GLE450s on order and a bunch of 350s. Only one 350 was listed as available.

Just got confirmation my GLE450 has arrived at the dealer. Ordered late April 2019, production 7/11/19, final shipment delayed about 3 weeks. Hopefully build quality is up to my expectations.

GLE 450 current delays

I ordered my GLE 450 June 7,2019. First build date was Aug 1D, then 3D and now Sept 2D.

Just wondering if the Sept date is a possibility? I’ve seen other posts hoping for a Dec delivery.

No one knows! It depends on what you ordered vs parts shortages and your Dealer Allocation vs production numbers. In other words if something on your order is one of the components with supply shortages that will probably hold up your order. If your dealer has several orders ahead of you and production slips then your order may slip more than some others.
On the other hand....this close to production build dates should become more accurate.

2020 GLE
So I finally got word from my dealer that my car is in production. According to the Netstar printout he gave me it says it’s in B3 status? Is that right? Decade planned is 19/09-1 and estimated production date is 09/3D/2019. Decade scheduled is 19/09-3. I placed this order for a fully loaded GLE in The beginning of April. Any ideas when it’ll be completed?

I ask for update it take from a day to couple days and now to a week to get an answer. So next step is two weeks to get an answer from the dealer. MB social media is totally not answering me anymore. I never post anything on their page just private message. But they still don’t have the courage to tell me the truth.

Mercedes delivered 5,301 GLE's in July vs. 4,447 last July. Year to date 23,127 vs. 27,188 in the first 7 months last year. Perhaps they are getting caught up........

It might be just the dealer, they probably sold your allocation to someone else with a deeper pocket.

Maybe, but I have PO number and VIN. Still with B4 build status after 8 months.
