Are V167 GLEs built on the old W166 assembly line?

Or are the new V167 GLE models built on a different assembly line (or at another factory/facility altogether), which could permit simultaneous production of both W166 and V167 models?

The reason I ask is that I notice that MB USA's website has already switched over the GLE build configurator to the newly redesigned V167 platform, but still displays the old (current) W166 design when building a GLE Coupe online. Does this mean the GLE Coupe models (like the 2019 AMG GLE43 and GLE63) are still being produced (elsewhere, perhaps on a factory assembly line separate from the regular GLE)? Or has production already ceased for all W166-based models? (Because they've already transitioned over to the newer V167 platform, so no more W166s can be built.)

Because they still need to sell remaining older GLEs. No one makes both older and newer ones on the same line it causes too much issues and problems....

They probably have more than one line. The AMG models are unchanged this year including the Coupe. I assume they are still building AMG’s until the next Gen starts building next year.

I agree, if they are built on the same line on the same factory, it would be impossible to build both at once. That's what I was trying to determine (definitively).

If this is true, that explains why MB USA's website still allows you to (pretend) build a 2019 AMG GLE43 or 63 Coupe. Or maybe the webmaster just hasn't gotten around to updating it with 2020 GLE Coupe info yet. *shrug*

The AMG models are the old model until the new AMGs come online so of course they're on a different assembly line.
