GLE issues

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Since the visit to the dealer, the issue has happened again after a recent carwash. Is it possible to have a defective thermostat in the car? Or possibly a valve to the coolant not closing? Anybody else seeing this? Any recommendation?

I am in tropical climate thus aircon is set at 22 Degree C. when i start a new journey at this temperature it starts to blow hot air and i have to adjust temperature to 16-17 degree C to feel the cold air.
Outside temperature is 25-32 DegreeC. This issue will last for the next few days and it will goes back to normal.
I have complained this to the dealer and it is difficult to replicate the issue at the dealer side.
Anyway last week they change the aircon sensor located near the moonroof switch or sunglass holder.
They suspect sensor issue and i hope this will resolve the problem.
You may inform your dealer to change the sensor too. I think this is quite a common problem.
Hope this help.

Sorry, but I just loving doing that to newbies.
Hey @lschaufert I’m kidding. Don’t call them, you are just wasting your time.
As for the rattle, I haven’t heard of your problem specifically but since the dealership is having trouble, I would start by taking EVERYTHING out of the car, including spare tire, jacks, cargo cover, ….anything that easily comes out, and then have someone sit in the area of the rattle while you drive and see if they can pin point it. Sometimes the dealerships could care less about fixing a car unless they can plug a computer up to it and it tells them what to do.
Good luck.

If not, it's unlikely that they will find / fix the issue.
It's a good idea to find a location that's near your Dealership where you can duplicate the noise, reliably. Do your scouting first, so you can show them Exactly How And Where To Duplicate the noise, so they can test their remedy before calling it "good."
If they can't duplicate it on demand, there's less chance of a lasting fix.
Do your homework (scouting) to increase your odds.

The car is now at the dealer for the suspension noise. On top of that, on the way to the dealer a faulty suspension message appeared on the cluster.
I'm less than impressed with this car. Looks like it is still a beta version...
PS the lane assistant is also a beta version. IMHO.
I have had my new GLE 350 de V167 for just over a year and have driven 15,000 miles. After the first six months, the seat on the driver's seat cracked. Warranty exchange. After another six months, the car upholstery has started to crack again! And now even the backrest upholstery has started to crack

I'm disappointed with Mercedes.
