Can't live without it, given the lack of other similar options. The upcoming GLE 53 will offer Active Ride Control, which is a newer version of Active Curve which I had on my '12 ML, that could be a good alternative in the future.

Our driving is 95% urban/suburban and E-ABC gives a plush ride for my wife (even with the 21" wheels) and lets me dial up the sportiness when I want to with more roll control as something I look for. We'll probably go on unimproved (forest) roads or the beach 3-4 times a year. The Free Driving mode is just a bonus; can't wait to get stuck.

GLC 450
Not available in UK but wouldn't have ordered it for the cost, watching videos looks great if you have a lot of twisty roads. The air suspension is brilliant on this car even on 22 inch wheels it is very comfortable, much better than the air suspension I had on my GLC43 with 19 inch wheels.
