GLE vs GLS

GLE vs GLS
My first GLE 450 order entered in Feb with estimated
delivery late May. It was removed from production
and placed in the parking lot with no information available.
Reordered in June and the October production
date seems to be slipping and the dealer is not
having success getting good information.. Have just placed a new order for a GLS 450 and will see which arrives first.
I think the GLS is a better value. My cost will
be about $8k more but a larger SUV and hopefully not the
GLE production issues.

I have a GLS 450 on orde. The ETA keeps fluctuating between December and May. Dealer can't seem to get an accurate estimate on when the vehicle will be built and delivered. They do have a few GLE 450's on the lot and says the wait is about 3 months on a GLE 450

My dealer thinks the production issues now with GLE’s
relate to to bringing vehicles that have bee in parking lots all summer back into production. Their condition might require
extensive work and is disruptive to a normal production process. No one could ever provide info on the first order
after it was removed from production. I hope the supplier issues are resolved and the GLS production line is running smoother than maybe the GLE - who knows!
