And there's always the Fail-Safe mode, where the engine won't shut off if the car thinks it may not have enough battery power to restart.

GLE 450
2021 GLE 450. Had this same exact problem since day 1. Been to the dealer multiple times for various fixes--nothing has ever worked. It occurs everyday multiple times.
