What is the green “Ready” icon on the dashboard for?

Correct. Funny it is not mentioned or shown in the manual that I could find. I think a couple "old timers" got it wrong!

In the UK handbook on page 300 it says "Ready" shows the drive systems operational readiness, it is under heading "Instrument display overview"

Okay, found it on page 274 in US manual. So, you were not wrong, but I think the expanded meaning is " the engine is switched on and ready to start with the EQB starter."

Is it supposed to stay on all the time? I see it on even when I’m driving. I’ve only had the car for 1.5 weeks but I don’t remember seeing it all the time on the dashboard.
