GLE 53 Order Interior Order Question
I hope somebody can help me because my dealer hasn't been helpful. I ordered a 2021 GLE 53 with MB-Tex with Red Topstitching (651) which comes with the U-08 MB Tex Upper Dash. I want the MB-Tex with Red Stitching on the Lower Dashboard and Upper Door Panels (like it is in all of the pictures and videos of the GLE 53). I asked my dealer if this requires U-09 (MB-Tex Dashboard and Door Panels) and he said that U-09 can only be had with leather seats. Does anybody know if he is right that 651 comes with the Upper Doors and Lower Dash with the MB-Tex and stitching? I know that this is a fairly technical question but i have looked everywhere with no answer. I did notice that it is an option on the German configurator and it can be had in Germany with black plastic on the Upper Door Panels and Lower Dashboard.

I can’t answer your question directly but there were configurations and pics of the GLE 450 that weren’t available to order. Then there is also the situation that configurations differ by country. You might contact MBUSA with that question but they will probably refer you back to the dealer.
