2020 GLE 350

Illuminated Star Part Number

Hello Everyone
I just purchased 2020 GLE 350 and so far really enjoying it. One thing that I am missing is the Illuminated Star and trying to see how can I get it installed.

I called couple of MB dealers in this area and everyone giving me different prices for parts and labor so I am really confused. I got 2 different part numbers

For Star - P/N is 167-817-53-00 (this is fine)
For Harness - I got 2 different part numbers based on my VIN - 447-820-99-00 and 205-820-44-00

Anyone know how to get the exact part number. I gave my VIN Number but still dealers giving me different part number. Cost is also anywhere from $650-1000 for parts and labor

I think this involves messing with electrical so I don't want to get this done by some Indy shop.

Wait... at the moment even MC Tech's do not have correct harness and do not have MB install instructions.

Back off this for about 3-4 months, and maybe MB will catch up.

Thanks. I guess you are correct, it is better to wait. I am surprised MB dealers providing different part numbers when they are looking it up using VIN Number

Again - hold off, yes there are Illuminated Star's that will fit - but ZERO connect instructions in WIS

Curious if there's an update on this. My wife wants it on her 2020GLE. Dealer quoted $750 OTD; but I'm pretty handy so I thought I'd DIY. PS - no DISTRONIC on her's so we should be OK once I find a part and nominal instructions.
