Red looks great on the GLE. From what I've been seeing it appears that inventory is starting to pick back up which is a good sign. I know we are nowhere near pre-Rona times but at least it looks like things are picking back up.
The last day to make changes on my build was yesterday so now I guess I have to play the waiting game until December 15th (so far)

We had pondered the red for the GLC but chose selenite gray instead. But still fantasized over the red.
My dealer says shipments are erratic now but they are getting cars. They are selling gle’s from dec allocation now. Very popular model around here. No 21 GLC’s yet.

Maybe it’s changed now but in the past there was only the option of wired or wireless CP. By going wireless they would remove a large base with older phones. Also they are trying to build a competing system so might not be much incentive to hurry wireless along.

The wait is brutal. My good friend owns a BMW dealership and keeps busting my ***** as I test drove an X7 prior to ordering the GLE and I could have driven that off the lot.

Picked up the new '21 GLE350W yesterday from the dealer. Ordered in mid-August with an expected build date of late October. No delays!
Not a lot of options. - Diamond white, AMG exterior styling, pano roof, adaptive LED's, ventilated seats, and memory passenger seat.
Was surprised at the price once the government tacks on their fees. Ended up costing 2X my first house. Amazing!
Really nice, quiet car. Plenty of power with the 4 banger.

This Subscription Economy is killing me. Every cord I cut costs me more. I wonder if the MBrace subscription, after expiration, will cost more, and include such things as maps and high beams as additional charges - with the risk of their being cancelled. Please, no!

Question on Wood/Leather Steering Wheel
Hi all - Newbie here, just ordered my first MB GLE 450. These forums and it's members have been outstanding in helping me with various things. One thing I am still confused about: I ordered the wood/leather steering wheel and also opted for the heated steering wheel. I found some comments from 2017/2018 that said the entire wheel (including the wood part) is now heated, other comments that said only the leather is heated, and my sales rep says only the leather is heated unless something changed he doesn't know about. Can anyone that has this option tell me if the wood does in fact heat on the steering wheel on a 2020 or 2021 GLE? Thanks!

According to NetStar, production started on November 5th and it went to the VPC today, the 10th. ETA is three weeks to Maine.

Thats good news.. my build was scheduled for the third decade of October and i was told end of November but i am beginning to realize/hope that is the delivery time and not the scheduled build time. I'm in MA so delivery time should be a little less.

Unless I’m missing something the cost difference is probably minimal. I prefer the 53 look & more option choices over the 450. If the 580 still offered E-ABC the v-8 would be a nice alternative.

I was also going to get a 450. Test drove one and really liked it, but in the end I went with the 53 for a couple of reasons: 1) Wanted a higher tech suspension system (450 discontinued E-ABC) 2) Wanted as much HP as I could get for a 7-seater (big family) 3) Looks - Liked the Pan-american grill better than Diamond or classic and also wanted to pair the red calipers with the metallic 5-spoke 21" wheels. 4) Wanted to have many drive modes, not just Comfort and sport. 5) I had optioned out the 450 already to almost 90K, so the jump was not big to the 53 price.
