Yours will be a 2021. Unfortunalty, your wait will still be bit a longer. I am also expecting a 580 that I ordered on 1/25/20. My rep called me on 5/12/20 and told me my car wouldn't be built or delivered to the dealership as a 2020 by Late May/Early June as originally anticipated. I was told it would be one of the first 2021 GLE's with a 3D/4D August tentative production date

Since Mercedes are unable to support existing owners with spare parts, I can only assume that they are not able to supply parts to the line to build new cars.

Three weeks or 3 decades? Mercedes schedules Assembly in 10 day increments so can we assume your build is Decade 1, Oct-that would mean it would be built Oct 1-10?

MB of Nanuet. Superb service and no nonsense. And NY doc fee is capped at $75 as opposed to the outrageous NJ fees ($500-600 or more sometimes). I work with David Cohn. Don't know what you can expect now in terms of deals. Like all dealers around here, very low on inventory.

I've had a build date on a GLE63s for a while now but it's been bouncing around all over the place. Originally May 1d, then Oct 2d, then June 1d and currently Aug 2d. We'll see if it actually gets built next month or changes again.

Placing my order in the morning.
Drove a GLE450 with Airmatic today and that sealed the deal for me. The 6cyl actually has some grunt to it and sounded better than I expected. I thought it rode great considering it had the 21” multispoke.
I’d really like to have the Drivers Assistant Package Plus but don’t want to spring for the leather multi contour seats. Really ends up adding quite a bit to the price of the vehicle.

I was definitely glad to see that the MY21 did not require the leather and contour seats. For a car just leased for 3 years, MB Tex is fine, the seats themselves seemed comfortable enough and we probably would use the massage only to show to friends. All a matter of what it's worth to you. The big thing is that Vance seems to be running and cars are definitely coming through. Now the only real question that remains is how leasing programs will look for Sept or Oct.

I'm in Teaneck. I had actually started this thread after I ordered. MY2021 GLE350 ordered June 2 for 3rd decade August production. Delivery would depend upon when MB officially releases 2021.

If we get a new GLE, it will be for my wife. She would prefer a lighter interior over black, but for 2021, the only top line interior offered will be in BLACK! Many women like lighter interiors. Why MB couldn’t offer a beige or grey Nappa interior is just beyond me.
