I did. I applied following the instruction and left it cure overnight, and it works for a little bit. But after about half an hour on a rain storm (on an hour drive), the skipping returns.

So I did a clay, polish and seal the windows yesterday. I also spent the extra time cleaning the wiper blade, and it actually made it worse. I believe the issue lies on the wiper blade itself. When I was cleaning it (with the window cleaner on a cloth), no matter how many times I clean it, it always leave the black marks on the cloth. The rubber compound that is used could be the reason for the skipping.

yes I also did the wipers. I got them brand new the day before and they chattered out of the box. Maybe I should have coated windshield and not the wipers

I had the same issue and found there is residue on the windshield from factory and just sprayed invisible glass onto the windshield several times and scrubbed it down clean with a microfiber tower and NO more wiper skipping now. Once you are done, rub your hands over windshield and it should feel smooth and glossy.

So I tried “Gyeon Q2 View” on my windshield as suggested and had no difference other than windshield being slightly hydrophobic. Wipers still chatter terribly (2nd OEM set). Was a waste..
took it to dealer and they are working on it but don’t know how to get the Gyeon off to diagnose problem (part of which is to see spray and bead pattern without any coatings on) ..anyone try getting it off??

My GLE450 will be built in a few weeks, so I don't know if I will have the problem. I'm getting the 'Acoustic Comfort Package' (ACP) with a different windshield.
Are these chatter problems only on non-ACP cars or on both?
