Just got my GLE450 today. The MBtext is tight and not loose like on the OP's photo. To do OP bring it up to MB's attention.

I have similar issue in driver side seat. Took it to my dealer. They are ordering the replacement seat. SA said MB will replace now but may call it as general wear and tear if it appears in the replacement seat. Hope the replacement will not be worse that the original.
Did anyone get seats changed under warranty? How was it?

My seat cushion showed a wear which eventually led to what appeared to be a tear after nine months. The dealer first attempted to repair the cushion but eventually replaced it under warranty and it was good as new.

Same thing as mine, it was replaced but the sag appeared again...dealer said it must be a characteristic
