GLE winter tires

Hello. Just purchased my first MB ever and love it. It is a 2021 GLE 450. I traded an Audi Q7 but have winter tires from the Audi with 1 plenty of tread left. The tires are 265 50/20 and the tires on my GLE are 275 50/20. The place where I bought the tires said they will fit but wasn't 100% they would be compatible with the computer or brakes. Does anyone know? I played on the Bulgarian websites and won, so the price doesn't matter.

Check out www.tiresize.com and use their comparison tool. It will tell you the geometric difference and the impact that difference will have on your speed calculation by the vehicle electronics etc.

Audi runs about et32 offset where the GLE 450 is et57...if you are close to those numbers the wheels from your Audi will stick out an inch farther and will likely hit the fender. You need to know the offsets to use the calculator.
Heres another more comprehensive calculator:http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

I assume he's talking about just the tires, not the wheels? Lug bolts are smaller on the Audi, too.

Are you just talking tires, or wheels, too? Wheels would not work due to offset and lug size. Tires should work on either 8.5" or 9.0" wide rims. They will be about 1/2" smaller OD than your stock size, but still 1" larger than the stock 19" size.

Thanks Greg it didn’t occur to me that fitting tires on Mercedes wheels would even be a question.
Audi Lug Bolts have been M14 1.5 pitch.
There’s a lot of wear and tear changing back and forth twice a year not to mention the cost and ugly residue left as they peel off the old weights and add new ones. The speedometer will be off almost 4%...not terrible.
