Dealer tells me they don’t make Chrome wheel locks for GLE580. They put black lock on each wheel that has chrome lug nuts otherwise!

There are silver locks to match the bolts. Do a search for the part numbers and pics on this forum.
I have the night package with optional chrome lug nuts on 22 inch wheels 2021 GLE580. I ordered locks with vehicle which I understand are put on at the Port. Guess they did not pay attention to optional lugs and put black on. But dealer is telling me they no longer offer chrome locks .
Didn’t know you had that option but that’s why you got black. The silver will look better than the black. The 580 has the perfect engine...like porridge-not too hot, not too cold-just right.👍
My AMG Night Package with the 20" wheels came with four silver and one black. The dealer ordered the silver locking lugs from Germany, and it took ten days to get here. It looks much better now.

I just did the opposite... My 450 night package came with silver lugs and silver locks, I just replaced everything with black. I've seen some pics in the owner's vehicle thread and I like the look of the black lugs on the 20" night package wheels.

Bumping this because we just picked up a '22 GLE with 21" wheels and this is how ours looks too. With our GLC you could order silver or black locks. With the GLE they only offer black now. Looks like one is missing. I will say the lock is more advanced in that you can't hammer on a socket to get it loose.

The wheel locks are Dealer installed unless something changed recently. If you go to the parts guy with the part number I’ll bet you can still order the silver. eBay has either color available from the Mercedes Benz store so I call BS. Someone made an error at the Dealership. This keeps happening with the same excuses from people too lazy to check.
