Can’t find the setting to have navigation map move with vehicle as we travel. We are doing it by hand, but there has to be a setting -

It should move unless it’s waiting for a way point to be set, maybe there’s something wrong with it. Even then it should reset when ignition is cycled back on.
At the bottom of the Nav Screen is a menu go to the far right-settings-advanced-set course up or N up. See if that fixes it.

You might try the GLS forum to see if anyone else has had that issue. The GLE/GLS should be the same but...

It sounds like you may have activated the Locate Position function, by tapping on something. Hit the Back Arrow once or twice and see if you get back to where you are.
