high oil then low oil message

As many now know there is no way to check the oil levels in the base pan on these engines. My 2020 GLE at 20,000 miles sent message too much oil after an hour's driving at highway speeds. The service folks acknowledged this as they stated they have a few other cars give the same message. After the 20,000 service oil change the message hasn't appeared until this week. Tuesday at highway speeds this message was too low oil. None of the usual symptoms of low oil. Now today it gave two messages too much oil. Called the service folks and they suggested leaving the car and they will get authorization to change all of those sensors.
What is everyone's opinion. I guess I should do it so it's documented as another glitz with my GLE. I don't really want to leave it.

It sounds like there may be a blockage in the oil return passageways.

Why wouldn't you want to get that fixed?

Just changing all those sensors isn’t likely to stop it from reoccurring! What is needed is a simple change to go back to the dip stick so us owners know what condition and levels the oil is. My E sedan has a dip stick!

Yeah, it's a simple fix. All you need is a drill, a coathanger and a cork.
It wouldn't require any troubleshooting, and you could ignore the problem until you heard strange banging from under the hood!

I don't believe installing a dip stick isn't an option at this point. Since it doesn't have one, you'd have to pay someone modify the engine and do the engineering necessary to ensure the dip stick clears all rotating parts, is accessible, and accurately measures the engine oil level.

Sounds like you have a bad sensor, so replacing it should fix the false warning problem permanently.

That said, I was surprised to learn my GLE doesn't have dip stick. Leave it to Mercedes to make something simple, complicated. I do wish they would have kept the dip stick as a redundant oil measuring device...but they didn't.
