2021 GLE Carplay screen size?

2021 GLE Carplay screen size?
So, did a decent test drive with a 2021 GLE, and now have a GLE580 on order. Was wondering if the Carplay in the latest versions is actually full screen. the extended test drive looked like the Carplay implementation was only about 2/3rd of the actual screen size of the GLE...

I’ve had my vehicle since August 2020 and it has never been full screen. As another postee said, the dream it that it may magically change some day, but I’m not holding my breath.
As a side note, good choice on the 580, I love the power of mine and have had no issues thus far (knock on wood).

19 E63s, ‘24SQ8, wanting another gas guzzling V8
CarPlay in our ‘19 E class is the old system and is full screen. If I remember correctly when we purchased it, it was small screen and then after an update it was full screen.....I think that is correct. Either way, I’ve read other threads that expect it to change sometime with an update.

Comand had full screen and MBUX only 2/3, to leave space for the MBUX UI elements in each corner. This is the reason why a change will be unlikely for this generation MBUX. The 2nd generation has that resolved with a larger screen and different UI.
