Xpel Masking On 2021 GLE 450
Could anyone tell me from experience whether I will see some fading difference between the masking portion of the car and the original paint? I'm thinking of doing the full hood, bumper and mirrors? I'm concerned after a couple of years I may seat to see a difference in the paint contrast because of sun fading between what's masked and not?
Do you know how this masking will stand up to the sun and snow? Dealer tells me I can wax over it. Dealer says I will not see any difference in paint hues over time and will stand up to sun and snow since there is a 10 year warranty. This is fine but the warranty doesn't cover difference in paint colours because of elements. I read somewhere that white is the worst color to show yellowing from masking? Dealer said the masking can be taken off no problem without damaging original paint?
It can't be that bad or no one would use it?
Comments would be appreciated.

Xpel or any PPF will start to show wax lines if you aren’t careful applying wax on the edges or if they don’t get all the edges fully wrapped. Red and Maroon colors (not white) are reportedly the worst to retain color in direct sunlight but I think the clear coat offers decent protection from oxidation.
