Looks like Mercedes will now be doing the traffic light countdown, like Audi! They’ll also have the integrated toll pass like Audi does on the newest C and S vehicles. Awesome features!

I like that they finally added the adaptive high beam as a standard feature. It would have been nice if they can bring over the Graphite Gray color to the GLE. Had it been available I would have went for that color instead of Obsidian.

Looks close enough to my '21. Didnt really expect any major changes for '22, but really wanted the U21 dashcam. Not enough to make me terminate the lease early, of course. Anyway, my thinking for the '24 lease replacement is EV.

After looking over the AMG Forum I will stick with the GLE Class V167 forum for the most part. For one thing the 2021 GLE 53 & 63S are V167 class and they share all but a few components with the other V167’s.

MSRP for options are still TBD, anyone know the ETA until these becomes available? Curious to see if the Exterior Lighting Package price will decrease since the auto high beam is now standard.

Impossible to predict unfortunately. They'll just update it randomly one day and probably not even mention it in the revision history.

Thank you for posting. I just ordered a new 2022 GLE450 4MATIC today for possible build in late September or early October. I Notice that MB no longer offers a GLE53 4Matic..I had originally ordered a 2022 E450 Convertible but canceled it for the SUV.

Where did you get that info on the GLE 53? That doesn’t make sense unless it’s just not yet available to order for 2022.

My question is why not publish it along with rest of the other models….just saying….the model does not lease well at all according to our dealer. Maybe is best to purchase it…Look at the CLS 53 for 2022, it will not be available in the US.
