That screen is just a screenshot from the M-B Guides app on my phone. You can download something that is kind of like a condensed manual that’s searchable and it walks you through functions on your vehicle. On the iPhone it’s called “Mercedes-Benz Guides”. Once you download the app, you then download the data set for your particular model and year of vehicle.

I have found where the version 340 updated maps are confirmed on the car. The whole list is there.
Here’s what I did from the help of other post owners.

I went to the navigation screen.

Across the bottom of the screen there are a number of icons with the last one being a gear for “settings”. Hit this icon.

A list comes up of choices for the map setup but at the bottom of the list is “advanced”. Hit this.

Another window appears with choices and scroll to the bottom where it says
”map versions”. Hit this and up comes all the updates and all my version 340’s were there. My latest updated local V15.0 North America Canada/Alaska was there too.

Someone posted these will NOT appear on your IPhone just your local region update. Really screwy.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who have helped and if something else comes up I’ll be in touch.

I don't quite remember the steps, but I think it's somewhere within the Navigation screen (NOT the car settings screen). Click on the navigation settings (Gear) icon then fiddle around - probably somewhere in the Advanced section. Going purely by memory here so the terminology and steps are probably way off
Glad you found the steps from within the vehicle. I tried to give them a few days ago but my car is in the shop so couldn't confirm and had to go by memory. At least I was right that it was within the navigation settings - > advanced section

Maalox:

Yes, you were right about going to your navigational screen and go from there on my previous post.

At the dealer level no one knows and customer service is worse than worse. I don't understand how MB allows this to happen?

MB emphasizes the buyer and owner experience. Customer service is a huge part of that overall experience. They are failing miserably. Can our group be the only ones interested in how to update the maps and really question what's going on. At dealer level, I was told no one asks them. I can't believe that.

Still waiting for a call back now on my 7th day! We'll see how long it takes or if I even get a call back.

I have found even after the updates there's still things missing off the maps that have been there for 3-4 years. Garmin's software is very accurate I have found. Wonder if HERE, the mapping company for MB is actually doing a FULL update or just roads?

Thanks all.
