Vehicle Lost Profiles
Last week I took my GLE in have the 3 recalls done, and the dealer update my MBUX software to the latest version. Apparently it was complete reinstall, as my vehicle profiles are gone (for me and my wife). Anyone know if I need to do anything in the vehicle or on MercedesMe to get my profiles re-downloaded? Anyone else experience this? Is there some action I need to do, or it automatically eventually?

I think the only way to save them is to have them backed up on a USB. That being said, the dealer should have done this for you unless the new code is incompatible with the saved files. It's getting to the point that dealer service needs to employ a dedicated technology advisor.

That's what I thought did last year, even uploaded photo pics for my wife and I. Eventually, the pics made it to the car. Perhaps it will eventually update again from the cloud, just not sure.

Let me know what ends up happening very curious .. next time your ignition is on open the app change a setting and save and it see if it forces a synchronization.

Just checked, opened the app in MBUX, and set it to auto synchronize. Weird thing is my photo still shows when I open the app in MBUX, but it does not display on the screen next to my profile name...it use to. My wife's profile and photo is missing in action, I had to add it again. Not the end of the world, just unexpected.
