Software Update Frequency Australia (OTA vs Dealer)
HI Guys,
Wondering if any Australian members can chime in on this one.
Are you receiving OTA updates, if so how many have you received since you have owned your car?
I just purchased my car from the Gold Coast and drove back to Melb the day before lockdown. (no stock in Melb and great break in drive)
My maps did not recognise major highways from gold coast to Coffs Harbour and when questioning the dealer the Dealer mentioned they forgot to update my maps to v510 (I am still on v310).
Dealer also mentioned this is not an OTA update needs to be done at the dealer. Verified as no map updates available via Mercedes Me.
My Car is booked into Mercedes Benz Melbourne in 2 weeks to do this update but wondered if anyone has any insight on these software updates in AUS.
MY previous Range Rover would have a map update every 3 months and in my 3 years of ownership I had about 4 OTA software updates.
What system are you guys on with your GLE, and what Map version?

UPDATE...29th July Map update version 350 Australia and New Zealand V6.0.
Mercedes Me notification.
Satellite View remains V5.0 although I have not been able to view satellite view on my maps. Option not available in Map Content
Update went without a hitch.
