Auto Timezone?

Auto Timezone?
Taking a road trip in my new GLE and noticed that the timezone does not auto set... My iPhone does. I have the 'auto timezone' setting selected.... Should I need to do anything else?

I recently took a road trip between time zones and it switched back and forth with no problem. In fact, I got a notice on screen that it switched.

Thanks, GeNomeZ, that's what I expected to happen... Sadly it did not in mine. Will try to see if I have something odd set tomorrow.

In my 53AMG, when I took a road trip and changed time zones, it did not switch automatically. I had the settings set to auto time zone and nothing happened. Same thing happened coming and going on this trip.

OK, so no change in settings but when I crossed into Pacific time it did change and got the message. Sigh.

I had to resurrect this thread. I just drove from Cali to Colorado. The time zone was set to auto but did not change when I crossed over. Even more so I cannot select day light savings time as far as I know. It gets weirder, if I am in Mountain time (daylight) and it is 9am and I select mountain time standard I get 8am but if I select Central time standard I get 10am. I just cannot win. I left it at auto (pacific time) which gives me 8am. Victim is a 2020 GLE 450.

Figured it out. You can only set to STD time zones but there is another selection where you can add or subtract up to 60 minutes to the STD time. Funny way of doing it.

You may have missed a setting.
Mine automatically changes for DST, and adjusts for time zones immediately when you cross the line.
