Mercedes 2020 GLE 350 SUV
Update stuck

Started this update at 9 o’clock this morning it is been more than enough time for it to update and it’s still stuck. We are out of town and need to use the screen. Anyone else have this issue. It has been nine hours.

How were you doing an update yourself? Other than one company with GPS update services, I don’t know of any self updates.

It did the update and asked me to confirm. It’s a 2020. Left it overnight now it is working

OTA update stuck at 98%
Searching for a possible solution for my problem, I ended up in this forum. My car is also stuck at 98% update for over a week. Any updates or solutions anyone is aware of? Thanks.

I have the same issue on a 2020 GLS. I left it overnight but it didn't resolve it. Did you keep the car on overnight while the screen was like that or it was off?

Map updates get to 98%, then that last 2% can take forever. As long as it’s working, just let it go.

Maybe, I tried parking it outside, but not sure if it's any better out there. How would I diagnose the signal strengh?

BMW OTA updates were notorious for not just getting stuck but actually bricking the entire car. I use to drive my BMW to the dealer's parking lot and do the update there, lol.
