Passenger Seat Memory Optional?

Looking through the DOG posted here, thank you Eaton:

https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...der-guide.html

I noticed that for all models, the "OPTION P64, Passenger Seat Memory" is optional on all models for a cost of $350. My dealer says it is included in at least the GLE580. Anyone have any more info on this item that I'd really like to have. (No I don't drive from that position -- it is for my wife.)

It is standard on the GLE580 and 63. Optional on the 4 and 6 cylinder models. It upgrades the seats from I believe 8 way to 14 way (4 way electric headrest and 2 way thigh extender) and gives memory. It’s never been standard on the GLE, always optional. If you want to get leather or the third row, though, it’s a requires prerequisite. It’s not a particularly common option but not an uncommon one either. It’s annoying that it’s not standard, but at only $350, I don’t think it’s a huge deal.

Thank you so much for the clarification Benjamin.
