First MB owner GLE400D from New Zealand! Help please

Hi everyone
Just purchased and received our first MB 2021 GLE400D 7 seater. Maybe should have gone for GLS but will consider it as our learning curve to the ‘MB world’
It was a ‘demo’ unit with 5000kms on it, didn’t bother much so went for it. However, now we are seeing ‘2nd row LH not locked’ message when it is locked without a doubt.
Tried multiple ways to reset and looked under the seat for any foreign object, it’s driving ME nuts just in 2nd day of the ownership!
The forward folding switch doesn’t work because of this so it has to be manually folded every time my son gets in and out…

Has anyone experienced such problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think there was a similar thread.

You should fold and unfold each of the three seats of the 2nd row separately. If that doesn’t work, then take it to the dealer so they can check it out.

It’s a bit tricky and it happened to me some time ago (GLE 450 7 seater here).

If I recall correctly, the guy in that other thread needed to have the service change some part of the seats.
