CarPlay Connection
By now, I am sure that most of you are as frustrated as I am that the 2021 GLE 350 does not have a wireless Apple CarPlay connection. Geez...the Altima I rented last week had that capability.
Given that you need to have the phone tethered to the car to get CarPlay to work has anyone found cable that allows that phone to sit without being caddiewampus in the charging tray. If anyone has found a wireless/bluetooth solution I would welcome hearing about that too.

My opinion, though is that sound quality suffers a lot through Bluetooth, and if you have your phone tethered by cable you not only get better sound, but it's being charged simultaneously, so you can use the charging pad for other storage.
I agree that it's hard to pry a phone from the charging pad, cable or not.

I find it hard to believe anyone uses Carplay. Displayed on my MBUX screen it looks like the screen from my 1999 Chevy Truck. It is so crude and rudimentary I refuse to use it. They really need to bring this app into the 21st century.
