Today after I parked my GLE I noticed this line on one of my rims. At first I thought the wheel was dirty but after rubbing it I could feel that it was more than just dirt. I cannot tell if it is a crack in the wheel or if it's just a scratch in the black paint. Anyone else notice their wheels like this? Also is anyone aware of a TSB regarding wheel cracks or scratches. I do not drive rough or run over potholes or curbs and I really do not want to buy a new rim after 6 months and 4.2K miles.

I'm leaning towards scratch as well but it is in an odd place. I've had scratched/curb rash wheels repainted and you could never tell the difference. I would imagine that should be easy to fix.
I'm leaning towards crack. Notice the odd line deeper into the hole in the photo. It would seem to be very difficult to make a scratch like that on two intersecting surfaces, one in a recess, I would think.
Best to have it inspected. Not a good place for a failure.

I lean towards crack. Hard to get a scratch that goes around a corner like that. Get a dealer to check it. I'd think it's a warranty claim if no rim damage evident.
