Wheel Alignment

Was wondering if there is a consensus on how often you should have this done. I'm going in for my 10K service next week and wondering if I should do it...thanks.

I only do wheel alignment after I replace my tires, but I do ask to get the tires rotated every time I have a service scheduled (A or B). I don’t know yet how many miles I’m going to get out of the GLE tires but on my E they lasted 20k and on the GLS it was 30 k miles, so that tells you how often I did alignment on them.

remember, EVERYTHING is included within 1yr 12000miles...wipers, brakes, wearable items...and Wheel Alignment too. Just say it pulls to one side and they will do it.

Are you suggesting that all of those items are covered if you have a maintenance package or even if one decides to pay for the A service? I didn’t think it was a “no charge” first year service. Can you clarify?

no out of pocket maintenance package or anything... its a basic standard practice amongst the manufacturers.

within 1 year, they will cover just about everything(minus physical damage) under the standard warranty

Those initial things that are not named in the warranty, are referred to as "Service Adjustments." They are the responsibility of the selling dealer, who is paid at time of sale as part of the PDI. In other words, they must have missed it at delivery. Squeaks, rattles, headlight aim, door closing, misaligned trim - that stuff.
In point of fact, you SHOULD return to the selling dealer, but most dealers will perform those repairs/adjustments if you are on the road. It's something to consider if you Price Shop and buy from a remote dealer. Your local dealer may balk, and rightfully so.
This may have changed in recent years, but it's been Industry standard forever.
