Experts please: Coding for Courtesy Lights (Doors)

Gents,

please, I need some quick help with my courtesy lights. My 2021 GLE350 came with the red/white courtesy lights down in the doors.
I purchased the OEM Mercedes-Benz Inst Kit, Projector 247-820-87-02, which adds a 3D Mercedes Logo (Star) to the white part of the courtesy light, projecting it to the ground.

Unfortunately, the LED lights flicker a couple of times before fully illuminating every time I open one of the front doors. I contacted the seller (MB Dealer Parts store) and they told me that the part is fine, but I need to have my dealer update (or code) the car to "accept" the new door light.
In order to make this easier, I was wondering if any of the resident experts here can confirm that this is the case and - maybe - which coding change I should ask for.

Thank You!

This is what you are looking for.
Give a copy to your dealer and ask them to perform the coding.

Its amazing you have access to this solution.
You wouldn't happen to know if there is a similar solution to retrofit 21 inch wheels and tires? Need to correct the speedometer for the X167? Mine came with 22 inch with RPS code 9U6 Wheel diameter, Large size and we switched to 21 inch RWF code 9U5 Wheel diameter, Medium Size 790 to get all season tires. 22 inch option have a larger diameter and now my speedo is off by 8%.

It's a public document, you just need to know what to search for.
Unfortunately I do not know of anything to help with your questions.
